Three days to go! We are incredibly excited to announce that the Future8 Awards Games category will be sponsored by top sports game creators, Stick Sports! The winner of the Games category will get a once in a lifetime chance to develop their game with Stick Sports’ CEO, Paul Collins.
What is getting us so excited about Stick Sports?
Stick Sports Ltd is an independent games developer and publisher, producing online and mobile sports games from offices based in London and Sydney. Their first game Stick Cricket, originally launched in 2004 was designed to be easy to pick up yet fiendishly difficult to master, combining simplistic graphics and fast gameplay. Using the same design ethos Stick Sports now creates games that capture the attention of a huge fan base across a number of sports channels including Baseball, Football, Tennis, Racing and AFL. With over 4 Million monthly active users on iOs and Android, Stick Sports games have topped the sports charts in more than 120 countries… and they are still working on new titles!
What prize is Stick Sports offering to the winner of the Games category?
The winner of The Future8 Web Award will win three one-hour advice and mentoring sessions with Paul Collins, CEO of Stick Sports, focusing on developing a game for launch on the app store! These sessions will culminate in a one-day visit to the Stick Sports office with an overnight stay in London. The winner will finalise their project and go through the launch and marketing phase with the Stick Sports team.
What is Paul’s reaction to offering this prize to one of our Future8?
“We are delighted to be sponsoring the Future8 Games category Award. With so much amazing technology available today the opportunity for talented young people to build upon their ideas and distribute out to the world has never been easier. ”
