We asked 125 kids whether they’d heard of Yo and here’s what they told us

Yo, the Flappy Bird of messaging apps, has caused quite a controversy over the last week. Is it a blip on the radar or does it look as if it could become an established part of the smartphone chat portfolio? We checked with a small selection from our kids community to see what they thought.

The results are pretty clear. Within the 10-14 audience, Yo hasn’t made any impact whatsoever. This is in stark contrast to Flappy Bird, which had already made quite an impact in the kids market as it ascended the ranks of the App Store.
